Contact

By form, email or phone — you tell us about your situation.

Sending documents

ID and AVS card for the employer; ID and AVS card for the employee (or, failing that, their parents' names); bank details.

Signing the mandate and contract

Management mandate and employment contract, drawn up per Geneva's standard employment contract for domestic work (CTT-EDom), minimum wage respected.

OCAS affiliation

We register you as an employer of household staff from the start of the contract.

Insurance

Taking out the accident policy (LAA, likely via AXA); occupational pension (LPP, 2nd pillar) if the salary exceeds CHF 22,680.-/year.

Monthly declaration

Salaries are declared every month and contributions calculated; OCAS sends quarterly instalments.

Annual closing

Salary certificate at year end. Withholding tax management is included for employees concerned.


FAQ

The questions we get asked most

Yes, from the first hour and the first franc of salary — there is no minimum threshold in household employment.

From CHF 22,680.- of annual salary.

LAA is always mandatory. Non-occupational accident cover (AANP) is only mandatory if the employee works at least 8 hours per week for the same employer.

It depends on their permit type (B, G, F, L, N, etc.). We take care of the deduction and payment.

Declaring to social insurance is a legal obligation and remains possible with a valid ID, but it does not regularise residence status.

It is set by Geneva's standard employment contract for domestic work: roughly CHF 24.59 to 24.85 per hour depending on experience.

A minimum of 4 weeks; 5 weeks for those under 20 and, with sufficient seniority, those over 50.

Yes, according to the applicable coverage scale (APGM / Bernese scale). In case of an accident, the insurance pays daily allowances.

7 days during the trial month; 1 month in the 1st year; 2 months from the 2nd to the 9th year; 3 months from the 10th year onwards.
